CLOSING OF GALLERY SPACE ANNOUNCEMENT
(Brick and mortar only)
We are sad to announce the closing of our brick and mortar gallery in Savannah. We’ve been in continuous operation here since 1987. As you know, Ray Ellis died in 2013. Business has gradually slowed with the sale of the majority of his iconic coastal paintings. We can no longer justify our retail space. However, his remaining paintings and prints will continue to be available through our online store/website rayellis.com. We will be working to get all available works online in the coming months.
In order to minimize the amount of inventory to be moved to a storage facility, we will launch a large clearance sale beginning Friday, May 3. List prices on all items will be discounted 40%. We have a large inventory of framed and unframed prints, framed and unframed watercolors, oils and sketches, as well as books and notecards. This is the last opportunity to get framed pieces and at a great price. After the existing inventory of framed pieces have sold, we will not longer offer items framed. While our current inventory of framed items can not be purchased through the website, a price list is available below. Call or email if you have specific questions.
We are also offering the gallery furnishings. All items must go. We have many antiques: desks, demilune table, marble top table, chest of drawers and sideboard, easels, chairs, oriental rugs, etc. There are several display pieces: antique oak print bin and large heart pine storage bin, the large very antique pine display table and reproduction easels. Price lists are below.
Purchased furnishings must be picked up from the gallery no later than June 1. We will not ship any of the furniture.
Buyer assumes shipping costs for paintings, prints, books, etc.
